Hats should be taken care of and stored. After taking off the hat, do not place it randomly. It should be hung on the hat rack or clothes hook, and do not press heavy objects on it to avoid deformation. Wearing a hat for a long time can lead to oil stains and dirt on the inside and outside of the hat, which should be washed off in a timely manner. The hat lining can be removed, cleaned, and then stretched to prevent sweat stains from getting damp and moldy, which can affect the lifespan of the hat. The dust on the hat should be brushed frequently. The sludge and oil stains adhering to the cap surface can be gently brushed with a soft brush dipped in hot soapy water, and then washed with clean water.
When washing a hat, you can find a round jar or porcelain basin of the same size as the hat, put the hat on top, and then wash it to avoid deformation. When collecting hats: Brush off dust, wash away dirt, soak in the sun for a while, wrap them in paper, and store them in a ventilated and dry place in a hat box. At the same time, put a desiccant inside the storage box to prevent moisture. Hat disassembly and cleaning is quite special, as there are hats that cannot be soaked in water (such as feathers, sequins, or hats with backing paper). If the hat is made of cotton, it can be washed, but with a cardboard pad, it can only be wiped and cannot be washed. Because it has a three-dimensional shape, it is taboo to use a washing machine.
